Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Leading off tonight, we have breaking news on President Trump’s effort to end the bloody and expensive 3-year-old war between NATO-backed Ukraine and Russia.

Zero Hedge reports that as of the start of this week, the Kremlin said no progress had been made in arranging peace talks on Ukraine between Moscow and Washington. Rumors and speculation abound, given that U.S. diplomats under Trump are without doubt working behind the scenes to arrange something, with the possibility that talks could be hosted in a 'neutral' location like Saudi Arabia or the UAE.

A Thursday Daily Mail report has just added immense fuel to the fire of speculation, presenting the allegedly leaked Trump ceasefire plan which he intends to present for Russia's consideration. The report says Trump will try to 'force' Ukraine's President Zelensky to agree to a ceasefire by Easter, which is on April 20 this year.

The Trump administration is reportedly seeking to end the war within 100 days. 

According to the Daily Mail:

“The unconfirmed plans, reported by Ukrainian outlet Strana, have been doing the rounds in political and diplomatic circles in Ukraine, and will include a ceasefire by April 20 that would freeze Russia's steady advance, a ban on Ukraine from joining NATO, and a demand for Kiev to accept Russian sovereignty on annexed land.”

U.S. taxpayers have been hit up for more than $100 billion in military aid to Ukraine since the war broke out in February 2022.

Breitbart News reports that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Wednesday that the Army had its best recruitment month in 15 years in January 2025 under President Donald Trump.

Hegseth wrote at the DOD X account:

“BREAKING: In December 2024, the @US Army had its best recruiting number in 12 years. In January 2025, the Army hit its best recruiting number in 15 YEARS. BOTTOM LINE: America’s youth want to serve under the bold & strong ‘America First’ leadership of @realDonaldTrump.”

According to Military.com, the Army hit a major recruiting milestone in January — reaching the halfway mark towards an ambitious goal of bringing in 61,000 active-duty soldiers in fiscal year 2025, which started in October. In fiscal year 2024, the goal was just 55,000.

The outlet reported, “The Army is set to dramatically expand how many new recruits it can send to basic training this spring, riding the momentum of recent gains toward reversing a recruiting slump it has struggled with in recent years.”

The upward trend is a reversal of abysmal recruiting shortfalls for the service in recent years.

The U.S. State Department under Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Wednesday that U.S. government vessels can now transit the Panama Canal without charge fees, the Post Millennial reports.

This will save the U.S. tens of millions of dollars a year. Rubio had warned Panama to curb Chinese influence over the Canal.

This is a change in the recently implemented policy of Panama which required increased charge fees on all ships passing through the Canal. After President Donald Trump took office in January, he began suggesting that if the fees were not lifted the U.S. might have to take control of the Canal.

Panama vowed to retain control of the Canal despite the warnings from Trump. The U.S. built the Canal under President Teddy Roosevelt at an enormous cost of both resources and American lives. 

Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino had said in response to Trump's threat:

“In the name of the Republic of Panama and its people, I categorically reject the words outlined by President Donald Trump regarding Panama and its Canal in his inaugural speech.”

He had also said, ahead of Trump's taking office, that the U.S. was not being charged inflated rates to transport ships through the Canal, which is comprised of a series of locks to make it possible for ships to cross between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. 

The sudden reversal marks just the latest of Trump’s stunning results in the realm of international trade and shipping, all accomplished with a bit of hardball tactics against Mexico, Canada and now Panama.

Wednesday's report that the U.S. government has been funding media outlets such as Politico, the New York Times, Associated Press, the BBC, and others raised more questions than it answered, though the obvious implication is that the U.S. government has effectively been propping up regime-friendly media, which then peddles regime-friendly coverage. This happened while the same federal government spent years attacking independent outlets, many of which have been financially starved out of business as advertisers pulled their ads from legitimate hard-hitting news outlets that were labeled as disinformation by the regime.

And while funding for Politico and others has come from all over the federal government, WikiLeaks, citing a Reporters Without Borders (RSF) report, highlighted that USAID was funding over 6,200 journalists across 707 media outlets and 279 media NGOs, which includes 90% of the reporting out of Ukraine.

Of course, the RSF report, and another from the Columbia Journalism Review, are sounding the alarm over the “silencing of independent media” around the world.

Zero Hedge notes that the critical context they omit, however, is that USAID has been corrupted into a deep-state slush-fund. Those they fund are anything but “independent.”

The Post Millennial reported that a federal judge on Tuesday temporarily blocked the Trump administration from transferring biological male transgendered inmates from women’s facilities to men’s facilities and from terminating their access to hormone therapy in response to an executive order signed by President Trump.

U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth in Washington, D.C., wrote that there are around 16 trans-identified males being housed in female penitentiaries, including the three transgender males who brought the suit. Lamberth wrote that “the public interest in seeing the plaintiffs relocated immediately to male facilities is slight at best,” according to NBC News. 

The judge added that, “Moreover, the balance of the equities and the public interest favor the plaintiffs.”

Trump signed, on January 20, an executive order titled Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government.

Lambert wrote that evidence presented by the inmates showed that moving them to men’s prisons would place them at a “significantly elevated risk of physical and sexual violence,” and that not receiving their medication for gender dysphoria would cause “numerous and severe symptoms.”

This woke judge clearly cares more about the risks of physical and sexual violence to the tranny inmates than he cares about such risks these mentally ill men pose to the hundreds of women they come in contact with at female prisons. 

The Department of Justice argued that it was too soon for the judge to rule on the matter because the inmates had not yet been relocated, but if they had been, they would first need to go through the grievance processes within the Bureau of Prisons before going to the courts. Judge Lamberth said the case was an exception because the executive order “plainly requires the BOP to perform the allegedly unlawful facility transfer and to withhold the prescribed hormone therapy drugs.”

Breitbart News reports that Saudi Arabia fired off a heated rejection of President Trump’s surprise proposal to take over Gaza.

Trump said on Tuesday at a press conference alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

“The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous bombs and other weapons on the site.”

Trump pledged to “get rid of the destroyed buildings” from the war launched by the Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, and “create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing.”

The president envisioned moving most of the Palestinian population to other countries while America builds the “Riviera of the Middle East,” transforming Gaza into “an international, unbelievable place.”

None of this sat well with the Saudi Foreign Ministry, which issued its response within minutes of Trump’s remarks on Tuesday night. It read:

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s position on the establishment of a Palestinian state is firm and unwavering,” quoting statements from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to that effect.

The Saudi statement added that:

“His Royal Highness emphasized that Saudi Arabia will continue its relentless efforts to establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without that.”

The statement said MBS specifically insists upon “a Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital,” and also demands “an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Wednesday that he would not attend a summit of foreign ministers from the G20 nations in Johannesburg, South Africa, later this month.

Rubio cited South Africa’s embrace of “anti-Americanism” as the reason for the snub.

Rubio referenced in a post to X the ongoing controversy about South Africa’s Expropriation Act; the controversial themes of South Africa’s presidency of the G20 in which Rubio said the country’s leaders are using that position to “promote solidarity, equality, & sustainability. In other words: DEI and climate change.”

He also cited the general thrust of South Africa’s foreign policy, which aligns with that of Russia and China.

Natural News reports that, in a dramatic battle for the future of American healthcare, Senator Bill Cassidy (R-La.) gave a pivotal tie-breaking vote to advance Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services, but not without extracting a series of unprecedented concessions.

Cassidy, a staunch defender of the current vaccine orthodoxy, demanded Kennedy pledge to uphold the CDC’s childhood immunization schedule, maintain statements denying links between vaccines and autism, and avoid any radical changes to federal vaccine safety monitoring systems.

While Cassidy’s maneuvering may seem like a victory for vaccine dogma, Natural News reports that his attempts to stifle debate on vaccine safety, efficacy, and necessity could ignite a backlash, as public skepticism toward vaccines grows and Kennedy’s Make America Healthy Again agenda gains momentum.

Whatever the case, Cassidy’s support for Kennedy’s nomination came at a high price. The Louisiana senator, who chairs the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, revealed the terms of their agreement during a Senate floor speech. The concessions Kennedy was forced to agree to include:

• Maintaining the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommendations without changes.

As the head of HHS, Kennedy would typically be able to approve new members to the immunization advisory committee, thus providing new evidence to the CDC.

These new members would provide a more nuanced perspective on vaccines, differentiating each shot’s necessity and provide data on the lack of efficacy for certain products.

These new committee members could provide scientific papers, showing safer ways to strengthen immune function to a variety of pathogenic threats.

However, Cassidy wants to quash scientific discourse and force the same CDC childhood vaccine schedule on everyone, which includes upwards of 80 doses pumped into children until age 18.

Cassidy also wants to preserve CDC website statements falsely asserting that vaccines do not cause autism, even though there are a bevy of new studies suggesting otherwise.

Just the News reports that the federal whistleblower protection agency has concluded the IRS wrongly retaliated against two agents who blew the whistle on political interference in the Hunter Biden criminal investigation and may have violated federal law by trying to gag the agents from disclosing wrongdoing. This is according to letters to Congress made public Wednesday.

The Empower Oversight whistleblower center, which represented one of the agents, Gary Shapley, disclosed the findings of the Office of Special Counsel in a letter sent to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

Empower Oversight had filed a complaint with OSC in May 2023 alleging that Shapley and another IRS agent had been removed from the Hunter Biden case for blowing the whistle and later had received communications prohibiting them from further communicating concerns about wrongdoing and political meddling in the case.

Those concerns were validated by the Office of Special Counsel, Empower Oversight President Tristan Leavitt. He wrote to Grassley:

“OSC confirmed in a December 30, 2024 email to counsel for the whistleblowers that it found the IRS issued illegal gag orders and improperly removed them from the Hunter Biden investigation as reprisal for their protected disclosures.”

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

Reclaim the Net reports that billionaire technocrat Bill Gates has voiced his unwavering support for Australia’s controversial online age-verification legislation.

Gates has lately been on a press tour promoting his new book and going after social media, always prefacing what he says with his supposed concern about children and young people.

In that context he addressed Australia’s new law banning all minors younger than 16 from having accounts on social platforms. This is something Gates said he finds to be a “fascinating” experiment, while according to him there’s a “good chance that that’s a smart thing.”

The new rules, adopted last month as part of the Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Bill 2024, will be fully enacted within one year, and are considered among the most restrictive of their kind anywhere in the world.

Gates spoke to the BBC this time to once again focus on the detriments of allowing minors to be present online.

But the question is this: Is Gates so enamored by the ability of a government to introduce such draconian, blanket bans affecting an entire segment of the population because he is truly concerned about the children? Or, is he most intrigued by the possibilities generally? After all, if the government can ban minors, why can’t it ban some other segment of society, like dissidents?

Imposing more control over the internet by governments is something Gates supports through his foundation’s strong advocacy in favor of the proliferation of digital IDs (as part of something he, the UN, the EU, the WEF and other like-minded organizations call, “digital public infrastructure or DPI”).

At one point in the BBC interview, Gates said a lot of thought needs to go into how children use devices and networks online, “but also even when adults do (use social media).”

So, you can see where this is going. And it’s not good. Bill Gates is telling us in the wide open what the tech oligarchs have planned if their Orwellian society of digitally marked humans is allowed to move forward.
