Illinois Homeschoolers Under Siege: A Sinister Plot to Control Our Children and the Dark Legacy of Alfred Kinsey
By Brannon Howse
Folks, we’re in the midst of a spiritual and cultural war for the soul of our nation, and the battle lines are being drawn right through our homes and our children’s education. I recently had Alex Newman on my broadcast to discuss a chilling piece of legislation in Illinois—House Bill 2827—that’s targeting homeschoolers with a vengeance. This isn’t just about Illinois; it’s a warning shot for every freedom-loving, God-fearing family in America. And as we dug deeper, we uncovered a connection to the perverse legacy of Alfred Kinsey, whose influence continues to poison our society and endanger our kids.
HB 2827: A Direct Attack on Parental Rights
Let me lay out what’s at stake with HB 2827. This bill would force homeschooling families in Illinois to register with the state every year, handing over personal details like their children’s names, birth dates, addresses, grade levels, and even their gender identities. Local school officials could demand to see your child’s work at any time, for any reason, with no legislative oversight. If you don’t comply, you could be arrested, or worse, have your children taken away. Private schools are also in the crosshairs—they’d be required to register and submit student data, feeding into what Alex calls a “dossier on every child in the country.”
Illinois has been a relatively free state for homeschoolers since a state Supreme Court ruling 75 years ago affirmed our right to educate our kids at home. But now, they’re coming for us, and the hypocrisy is staggering. While they claim this is about “protecting” kids, the public schools are a cesspool of failure and abuse. Alex pointed out that there are hundreds of Illinois schools where not a single child is proficient in reading, writing, math, history, or science. Less than one in three students is proficient in any of those subjects. And then there’s the epidemic of sexual abuse—500 sexual misconduct complaints against Chicago public school employees alone. A 2004 U.S. government study found that one in ten public school kids is sexually abused or harassed by a staff member. Yet, they’re targeting homeschoolers? It’s outrageous.
The Real Motive: Money and Indoctrination
This is about money and control, plain and simple. Illinois has lost 127,000 students to homeschooling—an “exodus” that’s starving the public school system of per-pupil tax dollars. Their pension system is a disaster, billions in debt, and they need kids in seats to keep the money flowing. Alex mentioned a ProPublica hit piece, funded by far-left extremists like George Soros and crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried, that used a single case of homeschool neglect to smear the entire community. It’s a manufactured crisis to justify this crackdown.
But it’s not just about the dollars—it’s about brainwashing. They can’t stand that there’s a growing number of families—often conservative Christians like you and me—who are opting out of their indoctrination camps. As I said on the broadcast, “This is about getting those kids that they’re not brainwashing. They want them under their control.” Alex put it perfectly: “They’re terrified of having any children escape from this indoctrination regime.” They want every child under their thumb, force-fed their progressive agenda—gender ideology, mandatory vaccines, you name it. If this bill passes, expect an exodus from Illinois, just like we saw in Sweden after they banned homeschooling and families fled to Finland, Norway, and beyond.
The Dark Influence of Alfred Kinsey
Now, let’s connect the dots to a deeper, more sinister issue: the legacy of Alfred Kinsey. I’ve been warning about this man since the mid-90s, and I wrote a whole chapter on him in my book Grave Influence, which you can find as a PDF in The Vault at worldviewtube.com. Kinsey, a zoologist turned sexologist, published Sexual Behavior in the Human Male in 1948 and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female in 1953. His work became the foundation for much of today’s sex ed curriculum, but it’s built on a foundation of fraud and perversion. Kinsey’s so-called “research” involved the systematic molestation of over 300 children, some as young as two months old. He worked with pedophiles, recorded their abuse, and claimed it proved children are sexual from birth. He even argued that adult-child sex was fine as long as it was “consensual.”
Fast forward to today, and we have a breaking story out of Indiana—a married teacher, Brittany Fortenberry, accused of sexual misconduct with up to ten teenage boys, sending explicit content and coercing group sex. This is in Indiana, home to the Kinsey Institute, which proudly carries on his legacy. How can Indiana prosecute a teacher for doing what Kinsey promoted, while taxpayer dollars fund his institute? I played a clip from a mid-90s documentary, The Children of Table 34, on the broadcast—it’s not for young kids, but I urge every parent to watch it on YouTube. It exposes how Kinsey’s “research” involved torturing children, recording their screams as “orgasms,” and using that to justify sexualizing kids early. This is the worldview that’s shaped sex ed in America, grooming kids to think this kind of behavior is normal.
I said on the broadcast, “Many of these kids have been groomed to take part… conditioned to think this is normal.” Books too obscene for TV are handed to eight-year-olds, teaching them that sexual activity—even same-sex activity—is “perfectly normal.” When I graduated high school in ’88, no one I knew would’ve taken up a teacher’s invitation to have sex—they’d have thought the teacher was out of their mind. But today’s kids are being conditioned, and the teachers? They’ve been raised on Kinsey’s ideology too, generation after generation.
A Call to Arms
Folks, this is a spiritual battle. Alex referenced Romans 1, where God hands people over to a reprobate mind when they suppress the truth. That’s what we’re seeing—a society that’s embraced Kinsey’s perversion, leading to an explosion of sexual abuse, and now they’re coming for the one group that’s resisting: homeschoolers. But there’s hope. The homeschool and private school communities in Illinois are fighting back. Catholic, Lutheran, and Christian schools are mobilizing, and there’s a big protest in Springfield as I write this. Past bills like this have been defeated, and I’m praying this one will be too.
We can’t be complacent. This isn’t just about Illinois—it’s a national agenda. Figures like Elizabeth Bartholet at Harvard are calling for a ban on homeschooling across the country. They’re already doing this in places like Sweden, where families had to flee. I urge you to get informed and take action. Check out Alex Newman’s article at LibertySentinel.org, and grab his book Indoctrinating Our Children to Death—it’s a deep dive into this wickedness, endorsed by folks like Pete Hegseth and General Flynn. And if you’re in the Mid-South, join us at our 22nd annual national conference on October 3rd and 4th, where Alex will be a keynote speaker alongside Sidney Powell, Gordon Chang, and others. Tickets are only $99 at worldviewstore.com, but they’re going fast.
Protect your kids. Get them out of these government schools, where they’re not safe—academically, physically, or spiritually. And support our work at worldviewtube.com/sponsors, where you’ll find resources to keep your family healthy and prepared. We’re in a war for our children’s future, and we can’t afford to lose.
